and what do you want?

Ten years ago, I made a list. A list of the person I wanted to be. I guess I didn’t know at the time. I’m looking at the list now… There were thirty three entries describing the future me. All of them have come true. I look back on the past ten years and the route that my life has taken me to embody these thirty three characteristics, and I’ll admit to being somewhat surprised.

Now this concept might be just too much for some people to believe in but… ask the Universe for what you want and somehow (I hold my hands up, I don’t know how) the Universe delivers. I say Universe because I have no other noun that fits better. Somehow it happens.

And it’s not just me, super-successful folks do it too: Minnie Harlow, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Jim Carrey, Oprah Winfrey all do it…

“Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life,

because you become what you believe.”

                                                                                                                 Oprah

I know there will be folks who struggle with the mystical element of this, here is another explanation. Once you know where you’re going and you are clear about your goals, you can be focussed on achieving them. Opportunities don’t pass you by. Next steps become revealed. You create your own reality and are attracted to people who might be able to help you.

And that all makes sense too. Or it would… if I hadn’t forgotten about the list. Now I’ve found it, I’m pretty blown away by how much has actually manifested in my life.

So no matter which theory you feel is right, write a flippin’ list. Who are you? Who do you want to be? What are your goals? Get a journal. Write it down xx
